On October, 22, Prof. Qin Pu, MD, PhD,Neighborhood Family Medicine, Warren, MI, was hired as Honorary Director of Family Medicine Department, Visiting Professor of Chengdu First People’sHospital.

During Prof. Qin’s visit from October 21 through 25, academic lectures, ward rounds, round- table discussions will be carried out in a bid to keep improving the medical capability of CFPH FamilyMedicine Department with his years-long expertise and experience.

Against the background of deepening healthcare reform and the implementation of Comprehensive Health Strategy nationwide, the cultivation of family practioners has been given great importance by CFPH. It is hoped that professional and clinical capacity of family medicine will be greatly advanced with the recruitment of Prof. Qin Pu.
