On June 5, 2019, Ms. Liu Xueman, Director of Bethel Center in the United States paid a visit to Chengdu First People’s Hospital, which was warmly welcomed by CFPH leadership and departments chiefs.

Mr. Zhao Cong, President of CFPH extended his cordial welcome to the delegation and introduced CFPH history, status quo as well as Pediatrics Department. Both sides also conducted discussion on the possibility of starting the first ever Bethel Center in Chengdu First People’s Hospital.

During the discussion, Mr. Zhao Cong expressed that since our Children Rehabilitation Center has been accredited as Key Discipline both on a national level and in our hospital as well, it is hoped that efforts can be made to build a platform for medical professionals cultivation, research, education and etc. between our sides to benefit more patients while exerting more profound influence through CFPH Pediatrics Department.

Ms. Liu Xueman expressed her delight towards this visit and hoped that bilateral cooperation can be initiated from one project first to comprehensive projects so as to build a platform integrating training, tools and resources to push forward the fast development of children’s listening and speaking rehabilitation.
