On May 14, Sichuan Airline 3U8633 experienced an emergency landing after a sudden windshield breakage during its flight. CFPH activated its contingency plan right after 29 crew members and passengers were sent to the Emergency Department of our hospital. By 11 o’clock, May 16, all the passengers had been discharged. The timely and efficient emergency rescue of CFPH was highly praised as a “Textbook Rescue”.

Ms. Wen Tianming, Director of CFPH Emergency Department said that efficient and quick reaction of emergency operations come from unnoted drills all along, which is a test of teamwork and hospital rescue protocols.
